Marking a new phase in its global alliance visibility, ITA Airways has introduced its first two aircraft adorned with the Star Alliance brand sign—an Airbus A320 and an Airbus A220-300.
According to a press release by ITA Airways, the airline confirmed that more aircraft will be updated with the branding in the months ahead, reinforcing its commitment to the world’s largest airline alliance.
The introduction of the brand sign is part of ITA Airways’ ongoing efforts to meet the requirements of its joining process into Star Alliance, the world’s largest global airline alliance.
The process is expected to conclude in early 2026, with ITA Airways officially becoming a full member. Joining Star Alliance marks an important milestone in ITA Airways’ growth, bringing its passengers a wide range of benefits and privileges through access to the world’s most extensive airline network.
