Aviation:West African Carrier Air Cote d’ivoire set to commence domestic flights on June 26th, as country opens airports July 1st

West African carrier, Air Côte d’Ivoire has announced that the airline is set to commence domestic flight operations from June 26th, 2020.

The airline on its twitter handle said it has implemented strict safety protocols to ensure the safety of its passengers during its operation.

It stated that it will commence operations from Abidjan, the capital of the country to Korhogo, SanPedro, Man, Bouaké and Odienné.

The airlines had announced a temporary suspension of its regional operation in March due to the Coronavirus pandemic and closure of the air borders to in-star flights from other countries worldwide.

In a related development the West Africa country is set to open its airports to international flights as from July 1 after allowing domestic flights from June 26.

National Security Council said on Thursday, said all passenger will adhere to safety protocols as it seeks to relax measures put in place to contain the new coronavirus.

“All passengers arriving on flights will be subject to health checks and systematic follow-up during their stay in Ivory Coast,” the council said in a statement.
