Africa: Ayade appoints new special adviser, assistants

Cross Rivers State Governor Prof. Ben Ayade has approved the appointment of new special adviser and assistants for the government.

In a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary, Christian Ita, the appointment of the new special adviser and assistants takes immediate effect.

The newly appointees include, Senior Special Adviser, Governor’s office and Events Management, Hon. Kenneth Aklah; Senior Special Assistant, Events Production and Tourism, Mr. Tom Ikpeme; Senior Special Assistant, Events Marketing, Content Devt. & Tourism, Mr. Noel Ugbong Akonjubel.
Others appointed by the governor, include, Senior Special Assistant, Web and Social Media, Amgba Mathais Akpelishi; and Mr Patrick John Ogar, appointed as the Special Assistant, Administration.

Governor Ayade also made new appointments into the state’s Carnival Commission. Chairman of the Carnival Commission, Mr Gabe Onah retained his position at the Commission.

Other appointed into the commission include: Mr. Austin Cobham- Secretary, Elizabeth Undie- Member
Mr. Effiong Asuquo Ekpenyong- Member ; Ikobi Ikobi- Member and Monica Edet- Member.
