Tallahassee, FL. June 10, 2015 â Travel Research Online, “The Voice of the Travel Agent Community” has announced plans to bolster Caribbean stay-over and cruise tourism with the appointment of seasoned industry executive Caroline Racine.
“We are renewing our focus on Caribbean travel tourism and have appointed Caroline Racine as a dedicated resource to lead us in this mission,” said Richard Earls, Founder and Publisher of TRO.
In her newly established role Racine will be responsible for supplying Caribbean stakeholders with marketing solutions through destination guides, webinars and e-commerce tools to propel TRO partners as destination leaders within the Caribbean.
“As a Haitian-American-Caribbean national, my professional footprint has always been dedicated to the brand growth and development of Caribbean travel destinations. Consumers have varied global travel choices and my goal is to make sure the Caribbean is the leading consideration.”
Racine, who runs GuiLac, an independent boutique consulting firm in the Miami area, brings more than 15 years of branding, hospitality and travel experience to TRO. Formerly with Choice Hotels International as Director of Caribbean Franchise Development, Racine traveled throughout the region bringing hotel branding solutions to hotel owners and travel officials.
TRO has moved from a start-up in 2007 to a major media player in a few short years. The company provides clients with a number of digital platforms through which travel programs are shared among a database of more than 80,000 storefront and home-based travel agents. TRO specializes in editorials, webinars, videos, banner advertising, newsletters and consumer advertising via its travel agency distribution channel.
