The Cross River State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism Development, Mr. Eric Anderson has opened the newly built hospitality facility, Rexona hotel in Calabar.
This is just as the commissioner reiterated his pledge to give government tourism structures a facelifts, in the state. He said work has commenced at the cultural centre complex in the state to make more appealing to indigenes and tourists that visit the facility.
The fence and the entrance of the complex, look fresh after having undergone painting.
Also, the green areas have had some good work done on it, as the environment is now more appealing.
The Commissioner said the glory of the historic building, will be restored back as workers have begun work on the main building.
“Our facilities have to be at their best to enhance quality service delivery.” Anderson added.
The Complex is the venue for the tourism Stakeholders meeting coming up this February.
