Ghanaian cleric, Bishop Charles Agyin-Asare may have banished the notion holding sway in Ghana that the country is more religious with the number of churches doting major places the nation.

Founder of Perez Chapel International, reiterated that there are more drinking spots in Ghana than churches.

According to pulse.com.gh, the Bishop said this on GHone TV in an interview as he celebrates 35 anniversary of his ministry which is still ongoing.

He is quoted by Yen.com as saying, “I think that there are more beer bars and more drinking houses than churches. Christians in Ghana are not responsible for the economic challenges facing the people.”
