During a celebration hosted by Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) and Global DMC Partners, hospitality professional Bryson Taylor received recognition as The Above and Beyond Foundation’s Heart of Hospitality Award winner as well as a surprise cash grant of $10,000.
Nominated by his Las Vegas DMC employer Fudale, A Global DMC Partner, Taylor was selected for embodying the true spirit of hospitality, consistently going above and beyond in his role, regardless of the situation at hand.
“Bryson works five jobs and is a single dad. He has dreamed of owning his own home but was unable to pull together enough money for the down payment,” said Mary Jo Valentine Blythe, founder and CEO of The Above and Beyond Foundation. “This $10,000 cash grant will enable him to live out his dream and purchase a home for him and his son.”
“We were all inspired by Bryson and his story. It was an honor to help recognize him in front of so many of our industry’s leaders and, even more importantly, amongst his peers,” said ALH President and CEO Josh Lesnick.
The Heart of Hospitality Awards provides cash grants to deserving individuals who work tirelessly behind the scenes in the hospitality industry. Employers are encouraged to nominate one outstanding employee per quarter online at www.taabf.org. The amount and number of grants given each quarter are commensurate with the foundation’s donations and sponsorships
