One of the fastest growing airlines in Nigeria, Med-View Airline, yesterday added another Boeing 737-400 into its fleet. This is as the airline also signed an agreement for delivery of another B747-400 with Air Atlanta of Iceland, which would be delivered soon. The arrival of B737-400 yesterday grew the fleet of the airline to six, while impending acquisition of the B747-400 would increase the fleet of aircraft to seven.
Statement issued in Lagos by the airline’s media consultant said the B737-400 would be dedicated to the Lagos-Abuja- Maiduguri route, while the B747-400 would be deployed for the London and Jeddah route. The statement declared that Air Atlanta would deliver the 463 capacity aircraft to Med-View to shore up its fleet as it prepares to open up more international routes. The statement quoted Managing Director of the airline, Alhaji Muneer Bankole, as saying that the agreement was a turning point in the 10-yearold partnership with Air Atlanta as both parties have kept faith with the existing relationship
