Medview AIrline has taken delivery of its newly acquired B777-200ER to boost its fleet.
The aircraft with registration number – 5N-BVY was flown to the Murtala Muhammed International Airport Lagos to the jubilation of management, staff of the airline as well as airport workers.
The aircraft is wholly owned by Medview Airline and has a capacity of 323 passengers, with 38 being Business Class.
After receiving the aircraft by the Management team led by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Alhaji Muneer Bankole, the Lagos State Commissioner for Home Affairs and Culture, Alhaji Abdul -Hakeem Abdul-Lateef and the airline Chief Operating Officer (COO) Pastor Michael Ajigbotosho offered prayers in the aircraft.
The jumbo jet will be deployed to Hajji operations next week when the airline begins airlift of pilgrims to Mecca and Medina. The airline is expected to airlift about 10,000 Nigerian Pilgrims during this year’s Hajj.
Medview Airline has B777-200ER, B767-300ER, 3 B737-400 and 500 in its fleet, and two more aircraft are expected to join the fleet by the end of August, 2018.
