Lionel Messi, as well as superstar Tom Brady, have missed out in the top 10 shortlist of the sporting Greatest Of All Time according to Good Morning Britain co-host Piers Morgan via SPORTbible. Despite boasting six Ballon d’Or titles and one ahead of eternal rival Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi has failed to make the top 10 list provided by Morgan.
Also, the 43-year-old Brady who captured his seventh Super Bowl ring helping Tampa Bay Buccaneers to defeat Kansas City Chiefs 31-9 at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida was not included.
The ex-Daily Mirror editor also said that Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is ahead of Messi, Pele, Diego Maradona and a host of others. Morgan added: “A supreme athlete and phenomenal competitor, who has won trophies in four different countries, Cristiano is the best real footballer to ever lace his boots.”
Below are Morgan’s top 10 picks for sporting GOATs:
