Seychellois Tourism Consultant, Alain St. Ange has been appointed as the “International Mind Health Ambassador” by the International Mind Health Academy of London.
The recognition is coming after the Seychellois tourism consultant was a speaker at an Oxford University event in London entitled the “Mental Health Global Summit”, that focused mostly on Mental Health that aimed at creating a platform for all those involved to collaborate toward a solution to the global proportions of Mental Health.

According to St.Ange, the event at Oxford University was the opportunity for him to touch on stability and confidence for each and everyone through peace, through the ability for progress and through each and everyone’s ambition for prosperity.
saw St.Ange spoke about Seychelles position as ‘friend of all and enemy of none’. A position he says the mid-ocean islands of the Seychelles embraced since its Independence from Great Britain in 1976. “It is a stand that has kept Seychelles out of conflicts and a stand that opened doors for Seychellois travelling in the four corners of the world to be welcomed as friends,” says the Tourism Consultant.

The Seychelles tourism expert showed in his address that tourism as an industry is the best way forward for embracing peace and for providing employment for so many and in so doing ensuring a better state of mind for everyone.
Alain St.Ange is a tourism consultant who works alongside many a Tourism Board and Ministry of Tourism on the African Continent and in the ASEAN Block Countries, is a former Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Ports and Marine of the Seychelles who is today a sought after speaker on tourism and tourism marketing, aviation and the new trend simply referred to as sustainable tourism development. He was also his country’s candidate for the post of Secretary General of the UNWTO in 2017 and one of the three Candidates vying for the post of President of Seychelles in the island’s 2020 Presidentail Elections.
