South African Tourism proudly announces Mr. Talib Sadik as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Mr. Siya Mthethwa as the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). These appointments highlight the organization’s dedication to strong strategic guidance, effective governance, and sound financial oversight.
According to southafrica.net, Mr. Talib Sadik, a seasoned chartered accountant with over 30 years of experience, brings a wealth of financial knowledge to his role as CFO. His proven track record includes significant contributions to organizations in the public and private sector.

“The Board of South African Tourism recognises the critical role of key executive appointments in driving the entity’s strategy credibility. Mr. Sadik’s expertise will play a pivotal role in providing strategic and oversight support to the CEO in the key areas of Financial and Budgetary Management, Supply Chain and Asset Management thus contributing to ensuring effective and prudent financial management and adherence to regulatory standards,” said Ms. Makhosazana Khanyile, South African Tourism Board Chairperson.
In addition to Mr. Sadik’s appointment, South African Tourism has welcomed Mr. Siya Mthethwa as Chief Strategy Officer. Siya has over 20 years of experience in consulting, financial services, public sector, and tech startups. He will play a crucial role in contributing to positioning SA Tourism as an industry leader through the management and oversight of all research, insights, analytics and innovation campaigns and activities. His role will also contribute to evaluating the performance of the organisation against the set targets and objectives.
