Nigerian songwriter, composer and multi-instrumentalist Emmanuel Bezhiwa Idakula commonly known on stage as BEZ is already in town to thrill Rwandese this Saturday 20th September.
The first African artist to premier live music video on famous entertainment television BET is in Rwanda to grace Kigali Up Sound Check event.
Speaking to one of the organizers of the concert, Erick Kirega confirmed that the BEZ is already in the country warming up for the show.
“Music lovers should get ready for Bez performing live at Kigali Up Sound Check on Saturday together with another celebrated music icon,” says Erick Kirega.
In early 2012, Bez’s new video of the song ‘That stupid song’ premiered on the world celebrated music channel BET in a show dubbed 106& Park hosted by rapper Shade Moss currently.
He was the first African artist to premiere his music video on BET and the first Nigerian artist to do a solo show at the iTunes store in Soho, New York.
Born in 1983, Bez started singing career in a local church choir at the age of nine and he grew up listening to gospel music and country.
Kigali Up music festival has brought African music icons like rapper Wade to share music experience with Rwanda’s young music industry.
