Lagos Restaurant Survey: Hotel Restaurants among the Top 30 Restaurants in Lagos. (not ranked)

The winners for the top restaurants survey in Lagos have emerged with thirty restaurants selected as the best dining destinations in Nigeria’s commercial capital.
It is a pleasant discovery for travelers and Lagos inhabitants that eating in Lagos isn’t a costly affair after all. Before now, Lagos was touted as one of the most expensive city in the world.
During the survey carried out by Travellers Magazine, it was discovered that more than half of the restaurants listed by most websites were existing, liquidated or under reconstruction. So few listed restaurants that are existing and in full operation.
Why 30 selected restaurants?
After a proper survey and scrutinizing the result of the questionnaire, With over sixty restaurant in participation, Travellers have come to the final conclusion that the final thirty listed restaurants met all standard of fine dining.
Furthermore, we came to the conclusion that the average cost of a main meal in a classy restaurant both hotel and independent restaurant is from N5000 to N10,000.
The high class restaurants are mainly located on the island, with an average total of 30 guests a day. Most of the top hotels have well patronized restaurants.
No doubt, restaurant as a unit in the hospitality industry is one of the highest employer of labor in the country as the survey shows that each of the restaurants has at least 30 well paid employees.
