The Chief Executive Officer, Global Links Travel Group, Mrs. Chinyere Umeasiegbu has been named among Africa’s Travel 100 Women Award.

Pastor Chinyere Umeasiegbu, widely known as Pastor Chi, is a pioneering voice in Nigeria’s travel and tourism industry, bringing over two decades of excellence, integrity, and impact.

In 2024, she was elected as the 1st Deputy President of the National Association of Nigeria Travel Agencies (NANTA) , an election described as one of the most remarkable in the association’s history. Within NANTA, she champions unification, diversification, and sustainable growth. Earlier, as Zonal Vice President, she transformed the Eastern Zone into its most outstanding performer nationwide.

Since 2003, Pastor Chi has led Global Links Group, an IATA-accredited agency headquartered in Warri with liaison offices in Lagos and other flagship Nigerian cities. Under her leadership, the company delivers seamless travel experiences across cruises, pilgrimages, international educational recruitment services, MICE, and curated tours, while also promoting domestic tourism, pan-African initiatives, and global platforms such as WTM London. She is also a co-pioneer of the International Travel and Tourism Conference (ITTC) alongside her colleagues in NANTA.

A former investment banker and Chevening Scholar, she holds a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Wales. Blending her financial expertise with a deep passion for travel, she has earned the industry nickname “Mrs. Integrity” for her unwavering ethical standards.

Beyond the boardroom, Pastor Chi is a motivational force, advocating innovation, policy reform, and a new era of excellence in African tourism.
