The Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Peaceful Sky Travels & Tours Ltd, Nigeria, Dr. Peace Chinonyerem Iyare, has been named among Africa’s Travel 100 Women Award.
Iyare, is seasoned leader in Nigeria’s travel and tourism sector. She is the immediate past Coordinator for the Nigeria Association of Tour Operators (FCT/ Northern Zones), past Financial Secretary/Treasurer for SKAL International (Abuja Chapter), past Financial Secretary for the Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria (FCT), and the current Public Relations Officer of the Institute for Tourism Practitioners of Nigeria (FCT Chapter).
Under her leadership, the company and the tourism associations that she actively belongs to have consistently promoted tourism as a tool for national development, youth empowerment, and cultural diplomacy.
Among her numerous accomplishments is the successful coordination of an international tourism delegation that took Nigerian tour operators to Morocco, creating crossborder opportunities and enhancing Nigeria’s image in global tourism forums.
Her work has been recognized with several prestigious honors, including:

She is the brain behind Couplevesary, Old Skool Tourism, Abuja Tour and Fiesta, Hike and Chill with Monalisa, Abuja Holiday Experience, and many other initiatives.
She has an analytical and synthetic mind, welldeveloped oral and written communication skills, versatility with a sense of initiative, and is an experienced Supervisor, Trainer, and Mentor. She loves traveling, meeting people, and experiencing other cultures.
In recognition of her significant contributions, Dr. Peace lyare has been conferred with an Honorary Doctorate Degree, further attesting to her excellence, professionalism, and service to the tourism ecosystem.
She has also been inducted into the Institute for Tourism Professionals of Nigeria (ITPN).
