The Managing Director of God’s Own Travel Agency, GOTA, Dr. Mrs. Olanma A. Ojukwu has been listed as one of the winners of the African Travel 100 Global Leaders Award for her remarkable achievement towards the growth of the tourism sector in Africa.
Dr. Mrs. Olanma A. Ojukwu transitioned from a tourism Consultant to a destination Expert. After completing her tertiary education, she trained as an Air Hostess at the Zaria Aviation School in Nigeria and flew for several years in the early 90s. She later shifted her career focus to ticketing, working with Benin Republic’s first travel agency after completing her Amadeus training in 2000.

She worked with Westair Airlines of Benin until 2003, when she joined American Airlines and became the ticketing supervisor. In 2009, she co-founded GOTA (God’s Own Travel Agency) International Group, where she has been actively involved to date. With her extensive experience in the travel and tourism industry, she has developed and continues to create inbound and outbound travel packages for Benin Republic.

Dr. Olanma Ojukwu has received several local and international awards in the travel and tourism industry among which are:
1, The 100 most influential personalities of west African in 2016,Ghana
2, The best 100 women in travel and tourism Africa in 2018, Nigeria.
3, Woman of impact in tourism 2019, Bénin republic.
In 2018, she was appointed as Benin’s tourism consultant for the Nigerian market by the Benin government under project CCOT. She also represents Royal Caribbean Cruise International and APG in Benin. Her agency became the national GSA of the biggest Nigeria airline in Benin Republic called Air Peace, since February 2024. Currently, she serves as the President of the Commission in charge of Benin tourism development at CTM Benin( Benin tourism stake holders association)
Married to Pastor Emmanuel OJUKWU and blessed with 3 children.
