TBI is a multi-award winning IATA approved company, which was incorporated in 2002 to professionally package tourism services to selective destinations for Nigerian business and leisure travellers and expatriates living in Nigeria.
Her dedication to duty, persistence, and commitment to excellence is unparalleled and reflected in her work over the years. Odion’s drive for success has been instrumental to the company’s overall growth.
In her 15 years in the travel industry, she has effectively represented and promoted the TBI Group business at local, regional, and international Travel and tourism-related exhibitions and events.
She is a seasoned travel professional with considerable experience and skill in planning, organizing, and executing groups and MICE packages.
Odion has a wealth of travel experiences and is a member of the National Association of Nigerian Travel Agents (NANTA), the national treasurer of the Nigerian Association of Tour Operators (NATOP), and a certified member of the American Cruise Line International Association (CLIA).
Odion was a keynote speaker at the 2018 AKWAABA travel market, a panellist at the 2019 AKWAABA travel market, and was named one of the top 100 tourism personalities in Nigeria by Naija 7 Wonder in 2019.
Odion Chigbufue is a native of Edo State, Nigeria. She is a graduate of Physics from the University of Lagos and holds a diploma in geology from the University of Benin. This Geophysicist turned Travel professional holds an IATA/UFTAA international travel and tourism management diploma.
She has attended several international courses on Tourism and holds Destination management certifications in several countries. With requisite knowledge, experience, and passion for the Cruise industry, she holds the Norwegian Cruise lines Master’s degree certification and is a shareholder of TBI Cruises and Tours.
She is a graduate of the Lagos Business School (LBS), and a member of the Nigeria Institute of Directors (IOD).
