Segera Retreat, one of Kenya’s most exciting safari locations has released its programme for the year 2017, for nature lovers that would want to explore and experience the beauty of mother  nature in its raw state.

According to segera.com, the safari is an exclusive destination for fun, adventure, spiritual reflection and peace, where absolute luxury bespoke service and generosity of nature.

It said while 2016 was a challenging year in many ways, a sense of calm has prevailed on Segera, with wildlife continuing to thrive and guests enjoying the profound benefits of re-connecting with nature in the Segera wilderness.

Segera’s cat populations are expanding with our lion prides larger and healthier than ever before with multiple generations of cubs, frequent sightings of our resident cheetah and leopards, elephant herds with plenty of babies roaming the plains, many new hippos in the river, and even the endangered Grevy’s zebra now being viewed daily at the retreat. It said its Kenyan Bird Safari will hold on the 19th to 27th of April with amazing opportunity to Kenyan’s birds in their natural habitat led by James Currie, an internationally acclaimed Birder, wildlife TV presenter, Author and Safari Guide.

It stated that the Segera Leadership Gathering “Beyond Philanthropy: Change The World Through Action” is slated for 17th to 21st May 2017. The Zeitz MOCAA 2017 Artist in Residence programme at Segera is scheduled for 20th June to 5th of July 2017 with acclaimed conceptual artist Hank Willis Thomas.

The Astronomer in Residence is from 19th to 26th July, coinciding with the spectacular New Moon on the 23rd July.

It said the grand opening of Africa’s most exciting new museum, the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (Zeitz, MOCAA) in Cape Town, South Africa on the 15th to 17 September 2017.

On the 1st of October, will be climbing Mount Kenya, the second highest mountain in Africa at 5, 199 meters above sea level. It is considered as one of the most beautiful mountain in Africa.
