Uganda Tourism Board has launched the 4th edition of the Pearl of Africa Tourism Expo(POATE 2018) and is set to take place from the 23rd to 25th February this year at the Jubilee Park, Sheraton Hotel Gardens, Kampala.
The event will offer participants (tourism business operators) to meet new clients, network, and market and discuss business related to tourism trade. This year’s Expo promises to be bigger under the theme: “Rediscover the Pearl,’’ with the aim of raising Uganda’s profile as preferred tourism destination for both domestic and international tourists. POATE 2018 will feature hosted buyers and media from all over Africa and beyond.
Visitors to Uganda will discover the latest in the Uganda tourism industry with a host of activities lined up. Prior to the main events will be Fam trips for guests and participants to some of the best tourist destinations and sites in Uganda.
The Pearl of Africa Tourism Expo, is an annual tourism event organized by Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) to bring together travel agents and all tourism service providers to brainstorm and discuss the latest trends in the tourism industry and the paths to greater heights.
