After Ckay’s Love Nwantiti, another Nigerian artiste, Kizz Daniel’s Buga has emerged as the shazamed song in the world.

The afro-fusion groovy tune, which has gone on to become the top in fifteen countries, has hit a shazam milestone.

According to NotJustOk, the song, which also featured Tekno was produced by talented beatmaker, Blaise Beatz, became the number one song on the Apple Music Top 100 in Nigeria just three days after its release and has become the Apple Music number one song in fifteen different countries in Africa namely; Niger, Mali, Botswana, Uganda, Guinea Bissau, Cameroon, Tanzania, Namibia, Ghana, Gambia, Benin, Malawi, Chad, Sierra Leone, and Liberia.

To add to the list of feats for the song, it has officially become the most shazamed song in the world, with a staggering 610,935 shazams for the song.

It could also be recalled that Nigerian singer-songwriter and music producer, Ckay’s ‘Love Nwantiti’ became the No. 1 song on Shazam’s global charts in the last quarter of 2021.

The song was above global smash hits from major superstars like ‘Stay’ by Kid Laroi and Justin Bieber, which at that time wasy the No. 1 song on the Billboard Hot 100. It was also above global anthems from Lil Nas X, Ed Sheeran, Elton John, Dua Lipa, J Balvin, The Weeknd and more.

It came after Wizkid’s ‘Essence’ became the most-shazamed song in the US, and after Master KG’s ‘Jerusalema’ also became the most-shazamed song in the world in Q4 2020.
