According to a press release the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Christian Aburime, Soludo revealed that the rising insecurity witnessed in the State is being perpetrated by criminal elements and no longer about political agitations.

He said that such criminals have now turned kidnapping, killings and other forms of criminality to business enterprise because of the huge sums of money they make from it.

Professor Soludo revealed that the criminals have become more daring as they have constituted themselves into a parallel government collecting taxes and levies from the citizens of the State.
