ASKY Airlines secured two of the highest honors at the prestigious 57th Annual General Assembly of the African Airlines Association (AFRAA), which concluded recently in Luanda, Angola.
The awards ceremony, held between November 30 and December 2, 2025, highlighted ASKY’s outstanding performance and contributions to the African aviation sector.
According to a statement by the airline, it was awarded the Distinguished Service Award for its role as a Champion Airline of the Free Route Airspace Project in Africa.

This recognition underscores ASKY’s pioneering leadership in advancing this ambitious continent-wide initiative, which is designed to enhance air traffic efficiency and connectivity. ASKY’s commitment has been instrumental in accelerating progress toward a more integrated and seamless African airspace. Concurrently,
ASKY was presented with the Airline of the Year Award for Best Financial Performance (Regional Operations). This accolade highlights the airline’s exceptional financial results, driven by a resilient business model, strong corporate governance, and an unwavering commitment to operational excellence.
