International Tourism Fair

Preparations are in top gear for the 5th Edition of the Cameroon International Tourism Fair (HWEJEELI FAIR) 2025, scheduled to take place from December 4 to 6, 2025, at the Limbe Botanic Garden, one of the nation’s most scenic and historic venues.

Organized by Flora Travel and Tours Company Ltd in collaboration with the Limbe City Council, the highly anticipated tourism fair is being held under the patronage of the Ministry of Tourism and Leisure.

The event is expected to attract participants from across Cameroon, Africa, and beyond, showcasing the country’s vibrant tourism, culture, and hospitality potential.

The Theme for this year’s event is: “Tourism, Culture and Trade Synergies: Discover how cultural treasures, tourism and gastronomy contribute to trade and economic development.”

According to the organisers:“Our primary objectives are to promote tourism, create jobs within the industry, and create positive impacts on local communities in Cameroon and beyond. We are committed to fostering an environment that encourages both intra-African and global tourism collaboration”.

The event is driven by the remarkable success of tourism in the East, South, and Northern African Regions. It raises a crucial question: why is the Central African Region, rich in touristic potential, so under represented? This region deserves much greater visibility. One effective way to showcase its treasures is by organizing a Tourism Expo dedicated to highlighting the wealth of experiences and attractions Central Africa has to offer. Let’s put this region on the map!

PARTICIPANTS OF THE FAIR

The Cameroon International Tourism Fair 2025 will host a diverse group of stakeholders from the tourism industry, including government officials, private sector operators such as hotels, airlines, transportation providers, telecommunications services, restaurants, and tour operators. This broad participation will facilitate knowledge exchange, policy discussions, and actionable solutions for sustainable tourism development across Africa.

This year’s highlight will be on gastronomy and blue economy. “We hope you can go an extra mile to support us in showcasing what we have in the ten Regions”.
