Destination Wedding Expo

Organisers of Akwaaba African Travel Market have announced the return of destination wedding expo last held at Akwaaba in 2018.

The Destination Wedding panel is scheduled to hold during the 19th edition at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos on the 5th of September 2023.

The panel is set to endear tourism enthusiasts and prospective couples to explore top wedding destinations and honeymoon spots across Africa and Turkey.

As the demand for tourism increases for various reasons, weddings, honeymoon and family get-a-ways cannot be ignored as a strong pull factor for tourism. It must therefore be explored holistically by both the suppliers and agents involved in satisfying these needs.

Akwaaba Travel Market thus seeks to use the 19th edition to deliver a platform for wedding and event planners, lovebirds, newlyweds and families to meet with travel suppliers and get first-hand information to explore those destinations, challenges facing packaging destination weddings and selling destination weddings as a product.
AKWAABA African Travel Market is scheduled to hold on the 3rd– 5th September, 2023 at Eko Hotel & Suites Lagos.

Akwaaba Travel Market is the only international travel fair in West Africa, a meeting place for investors in the travel and tourism sector. The event attracts over 20 countries, airlines, hotel chains and good numbers of visitors yearly.

Akwaaba African Travel Market is the biggest travel expo in West Africa, providing an excellent platform for network with like-minded individuals. The 3-Days event highlights include: The African Food Fair, Medical Tourism Expo, African Youth Tourism Bantaba.
