Africa: Eko Hotel temporarily closes some of its services to contain Coronavirus spread

Eko Hotel, one of the largest hospitality providers in Nigeria has temporarily closed some of it service to the general public.

The hotel in a statement said it is closing its Eko Suite Hotel, Eko Gardens Hotel, 88 Restaurant, Lagos Irish Pub, Sky Restaurant, My Thai Restaurant, Red Chinese Restaurant, Crossroads and the Spa.

Other services provided by the hotel also closed include: Gym, Pool, Conference and Banquet facilities.

The hotel however stated that part of Eko Signature and Eko Hotel, as well as Kuramo Sports Café, Calabash Bar, Lagoon Breeze, 1415 Seafood and Steak will still be operational.

According to the hotel, “We urge you to take necessary precautionary steps advised by the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in staying safe, as we fight COVID-19 together.”
