The seasonal increase is designed to provide travellers with more options during one of the busiest periods for travel to Nigeria, when demand from returning Nigerians in the diaspora, holidaymakers and business travellers typically rises. The extra flight will also provide passengers departing from Enugu with additional opportunities to connect through Addis Ababa to Ethiopian Airlines’ wider African and international network.
The extra flight will operate under the following schedule:
– ET931: Addis Ababa (ADD) 09:30 → Enugu (ENU) 12:30
– ET930: Enugu (ENU) 13:15 → Addis Ababa (ADD) 20:15
The additional service is scheduled for the festive travel period, with the supplied notice specifying an effective period through January 9, 2027. Travellers should confirm operating dates and schedules directly with Ethiopian Airlines, as published timetables may change. The seasonal increase reinforces Enugu’s role as an international gateway for southeastern Nigeria and offers additional capacity for passengers travelling between the region, Ethiopia and onward destinations.
