Africa: Former Namibian Civil Aviation Boss, Angeline Simana Appointed Interim Secretary General, African Civil Aviation Commission, AFCAC

THE former executive director of the Namibia Civil Aviation Authority, Angeline Simana has been appointed as the interim secretary general of the agency of the African Union responsible for civil aviation matters in Africa.

According to namibian.com.na, the agency announced the news on its social media platform on Friday.

Simana was appointed at the 33rd plenary of the African Civil Aviation Commission held in Kigali, Rwanda.

She currently serves as director of air transport at the African Civil Aviation Commission.

Simana replaced outgoing secretary general Tefera Mekonnen Tefera.
