The Executive Governor of Kano State His Excellency Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has approved the appointments of 14 heads of government agencies, including a former Director of the National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism, NIHOTOUR, Tukur Bala Sagagi.
According to a press release by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, all the appointees are directed to take over their new responsibility immediately.
Those appointed are as follows:
1. Engr. Ado Ibrahim Umar, Managing Director, Kano Hydo Electricity Development Company (KHEDCO)
2. Alh. Auwalu Mukhtar Bichi, Managing Director, Kano State Investment and Properties Limited (KSIP).
3. Dr. Farouq Kurawa, Managing Director, Kano State Agricultural and Rural Development Authority (KNARDA). Until his appointment, Dr. Kurawa is the Principal Private Secretary (PPS) to the Governor.
4. Dr. Tukur Dayyabu Minjibir, Managing Director, Kano Agricultural Supply Company (KASCO)
5. Hon. Hussain Sarki Aliyu Madobi, Managing Director, Sustainable Kano Project (SKP)
6. Hon. Sadiq Kura Muhammad, Managing Director, Zoological Garden Kano (ZGK)
7. Engr. Sani Bala, Managing Director, Rural Electricity Board (REB)
8. Hon. Shamwilu Gezawa, Kano State Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASA)
9. Alh. Tukur Bala Sagagi, Managing Director, Kano State Tourism Board
10. Alh. Yahaya Muhammad Idris Managing Director, Kano State Printing Press
11. Hon. Adamu Yahaya, Deputy Managing Director (DMD), Kano Printing Press
12. Abba El-mustapha, Executive Secretary, Kano State Film Censorship Board
13. Dr. Muhammad S. Khalil, Executive Secretary, Kano State Watershed, Erosion and Climate Change Management Agency (KN-WECCMA)
