Ramatoulie Jallow, the Founder of Smiling Coast Tourism has been named as one of the Africa Travel 100 under 40 award winners by the organisers of Akwaaba Travel Market, West Africa’s largest travel expo and Atqnews.com.

Smiling Coast Tourism is a tech startup in The Gambia that builds, manages and markets travel-related software for smooth service delivery within the African Travel Industry.

The startup has built its first product named Smileafric.com which comes with three distinct features as its MVP; a booking platform that aims to bring all hotels, apartments, holiday homes (staycations) in Africa on one platform, an Attraction Tracker that aims to bring all African attraction sites in one place and a virtual craft market that wishes to use the power of Virtual Reality to show tourists coming to our continent the beautiful culture and art that lined our history even before their arrival. These exiting features and more are in the pipeline with the Smileafric platform set to launch in December 2023.
