Africa: Ghana appoints new CEO for tourism board

Ace broadcaster, Gideon Aryeequaye has been appointed the new Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority.

The Deputy Managing Director of the Ghana Tourist Development Company (GTDC) and former TV3 news anchor takes over from the current CEO, Mr Charles Osei Bonsu who ended his tenure in September.

Mr. Aryeequaye worked many years as a broadcast journalist before going into politics and until his appointment, was the Deputy Managing Director of the Ghana Tourism Development Company.
