Africa: Ghana’s youngest female commercial pilot hopes to inspire girls’ interest in aviation

Ghana’s youngest female commercial pilot, Audray Maame Esi Swatson hopes to inspire other girls in the country to take interest in the aviation industry.

According to 9newsng.com, Audray Maame Esi Swatson started pursuing her passion in Aviation when she was 18- years old.

She attended March 1 Academy in South Africa for flight training and had her solo flight just 1 year after she obtained her commercial license at the age of 21. Swatson is currently a first officer with PASSION AIR in Ghana. Not only that, she is also the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of her own Aviation company called EXCEL Aviation.

The beautiful pilot said “I’m glad on what I have achieved so far and glad to inspire other children that whatever they dream of, they can actually be.

Education has fulfilled me and I am a more positive person because of it”
