Africa: Jamie-Lee Abtar, UK-Based Travel Expert to Deliver Keynote Speech at 2020 African Youth In Tourism Conference.


The organisers of Akwaaba African Travel Market, the leading Pan-African Tourism Expo have confirmed that Jamie-Lee Abtar, Executive Director of BAME Women in Travel CIC and Travel Marketing Consultant, as the lead speaker at the African Youth In Tourism Conference, scheduled to take place as a virtual event on September 22, 2020.

Jamie-Lee Abtar is the Executive Director of BAME Women in Travel CIC, Marketing, Media and Brand Partnership Consultant where she has worked with destinations, tour operators and hotel brand such as the Caribbean Tourism Organization, Sri Lanka Training Program, The Lanterns Hotel Collection, Oceans Hotel Group and Party Hard Travel. She considers her ‘superpower’ to be creating compelling marketing, PR and advertising campaigns to get brands seen in the global marketplace and attract new profitable audiences.

The African Youth In Tourism Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, September 22, 2020 via Zoom at 1200hrs Nigerian time.

The theme for this year’s conference is: The Role of the Youth in Restoring Tourism Growth in Africa.
