The 145-room resort is scheduled to open in February 2030 a short drive from Pemba Airport. It will feature a selection of guest rooms, suites and villas as well as dining and MICE facilities.

“Introducing the NH Collection brand to Tanzania, with our first property on Pemba Island, marks a major step in our expansion across the Indian Ocean, building on our trusted partnership with Infinity Developments. The island’s unspoiled beauty and growing appeal among experience-led travellers make it an ideal location for the NH Collection brand,” said Amir Golbarg, Chief Operations Officer at Minor Hotels Middle East & Africa.
