Minor Hotels has announced plans to expand its footprint in East Africa through a new luxury resort project on Pemba Island, Tanzania.
According to tourismupdate.com, the development, to be branded as the NH Collection Pemba Island Resort, is being undertaken in partnership with Dubai-based Infinity Developments as part of efforts to strengthen the region’s high-end tourism offerings.

The 145-room resort is scheduled to open in February 2030 a short drive from Pemba Airport. It will feature a selection of guest rooms, suites and villas as well as dining and MICE facilities.
“Introducing the NH Collection brand to Tanzania, with our first property on Pemba Island, marks a major step in our expansion across the Indian Ocean, building on our trusted partnership with Infinity Developments.
