The Nigeria Association of Tour Operators (NATOP), has elected new council members into the body after its Annual General Meeting (AGM), held in Owerri, Imo State in South East of Nigeria.
In the last 5 editions NATOP has used the AGM to expose the Tourism Assets of Nigeria.
In 2016 the AGM was held in Calabar, Cross River State in the South-South of Nigeria. The 2017 AGM was held in Lagos, South West of Nigeria. Since 2017 the NATOP AGM is the only tourism event that has been attended by the Minister in Charge of Tourism, Alhaji Lai Mohammed.
The 2018 AGM was held in Jos, Plateau State in the North Central of Nigeria. 2019 was hosted by the Ooni of Ife in Osun State in the South West of Nigeria.
There was no physical AGM in 2020 because of Covid19 but the 2021 edition was held in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State in the South-South of Nigeria.
