Africa: Nigerian Music Producer, Don Jazzy Secures Six Production Credits on Billboard’s 50 Greatest Afrobeats Songs

Celebrated Nigerian music producer, Don Jazzy, has expressed pride in his imprint on Afrobeats after Billboard’s Top 50 Greatest Afrobeats Songs of All-Time list featured six tracks produced by him, cementing his legacy as one of the genre’s most influential hitmakers.

According to dailypost.ng, Don Jazzy and his former artists D’banj, Wande Coal, and Tiwa Savage each have two entries in the list.

Reacting to the list via his X handle, Jazzy noted that he produced six songs in it.

He wrote, “Inside the 50 I sha produced 6. I try Abi I no try”.

Don Jazzy’s production credits in the list include Wande Coal’s ‘Bumper 2 Bumper’ and ‘Kiss Your Hand’, D’banj’s ‘Oliver Twist’ and ‘Fall In Love’, and he and Tiwa Savage’s ‘Eminado’ and ‘Dorobucci.’

He is the Afrobeats producer with the most production credits on the list.
