This strategic move not only aims to elevate NATOP’s visibility but also seeks to attract attention from other states to position their offerings for attention.
During the deliberations, the meeting delved into discussions on the merits of promoting some chosen destinations emphasizing the showcasing and marketing of the best offerings each state possesses. In a democratic process, three potential locations were proposed for consideration: Akwa Ibom, Cross River, and Ekiti states.
The outcome of the poll revealed that Akwa Ibom State emerged as the clear favorite followed by Cross River and Ekiti.
The choice signifies a strategic alignment among NATOP members to not only contribute to the growth of the state’s tourism sector but also to fortify the association’s standing in the broader tourism landscape.
