Africa: Nigeria’s Federal Aviation Ministry’s New Permanent Secretary Tours Key Facilities, Engages with FAAN Leadership

Dr. Ibrahim Abubakar Kana, mni, the newly inaugurated Permanent Secretary (PS) of the Federal Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development, has embarked on a familiarization visit to aviation agencies.

His first stop was the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), where he engaged with the management team to gain insight into their operations and challenges, signaling his commitment to enhancing the nation’s aviation sector.

According to a statement by airport authority, the MD/CE FAAN, Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku, in her presentation to the PS, gave a comprehensive overview of activities of all Directorates of the agency.

She presented her scorecard for the past one year in which she highlighted the successes and challenges of the administration.

Thereafter the FAAN Management team, led by the MD/CE took the PS and his delegation on a tour of facilities of Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos, for an on-the-spot assessment.
