Nigeria’s Tayo Conga displays his skills on stage

Tayo Conga, is a Nigerian professional percussionist whose dexterity caught across all genre of African music.

He is currently the creative director of Tumbadora African Beats Entertainment, showcasing different African drums, promoting African arts, culture and tourism with percussion ensembles.

His style attracts fusion music, blending different genre of music which includes; Apala, Salsa, Hip-hop, Afro, Highlife, Awurebe etc.

He has worked with both local and international artistes including;  Bob fitts, Lionel Peterson and also shared the same stage with most of the A-list Artist in Nigeria music industry including Banky W, Wizkid, Iyanya, Tuface  Idibia (2baba), Olamide, Flavour, Patoranking, Kcee, Praiz, Shaydee, Phyno, Skiibi, Waje, Temidollface, Yomi Sax, Skales, Wande Coal, Zaina, Wasiu Alabi (Pasuma), Kaline, Omawunmi, among others.

And he has also shared the same stage and worked with some music producers and gospel artist such as Sammy Okposo, Young John, Wole Oni, Masterkraft, DJ. Babus, DJ. Derek, Eclipse, Sammy Young, Princeton Beatz, Tosin Martins, Ibitayo Jeje, Midnight Crew, Ozichi, Mike Abdul, Sola Allyson, Big Bolaji, Beejay Sax, Efe Nathan, Pat Uwaje-King, Mike Aremu,  Survival Band, Kunle Ajayi…etc.

Tayo conga has performed in various concerts, carnivals and festivals including; Lagos International Jazz Festival(2015 & 2016), Felabration 2015 Grand Finale, Late Muritala Mohammed Awareness Concert, National Association Of Petroleum Explorationist Concert (African Night), and 2016 Olojo Festival (Stake Holders Forum – Organised By Kabiyesi Oonirisa Of Ile-Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi (Ojaja Ii).Etc.

Tayo Conga has brought back originality and he is adding more value to Nigeria/Africa entertainment industry using conga drum as the lead instrument and accompany by various percurssive instruments.

He is dexterous, energetic, creative and excellent in his crafts being the best percussionist in Nigeria.
