The meeting, held at the NUGI office in Parliamentary Extension, focused on a comprehensive demonstration of the Carnival Online Voting Dashboard.

The session was designed to foster synergy between the commission and technical developers, ensuring the platform is equipped to handle the rigorous demands of a global audience.

The platform also integrates a membership ecosystem and a synoptic presentation of carnival themes to provide a holistic digital experience.

Sir Onah emphasized that transitioning to a robust online platform is essential for maintaining the carnival’s status as a world-class event. By inviting key stakeholders to witness the dashboard in action, the Commission aims to build public integrity and streamline the competitive aspects of the festival.

”This demo is about more than just software; it’s about ensuring that the heartbeat of the carnival, the people’s choice, is captured with precision and integrity, every picture or video tells a story so powerful that anyone can feel it.” He added.

The event concluded with a consensus on the next phases of deployment, as Calabar continues to set the pace for cultural tourism and technological adoption in the region.
