South African Tourism (SAT), has appointed its Chief Operating Officer, Sthembiso Dlamini, as the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the organisation following the stepping down of Sisa Ntshona.
According to tourismupdate.co.za, Chairman of the Board, Siyabonga Dube, noted this in an internal letter shared with SA Tourism staff. Tourism Update noted that the recruitment process for a new CEO is still under way.
The former CEO, Sisa Ntshona stepped down from his role at the end of May, ahead of his five-year contract ending in September.
Dlamini was Acting CEO for SA Tourism in 2019.
