Xenophobic Attacks

In response to recent xenophobic attacks, South African tourism organizations are evaluating the financial toll on the travel industry.

According to tourismupdate.co.za, The Tourism Business Council of South Africa (TBCSA) and the Southern Africa Tourism Services Association (SATSA) have requested that industry members report the monetary impact of cancellations.

This data will inform a comprehensive report for government consideration, aimed at highlighting the economic consequences and supporting sustainable solutions. TravelHub is also conducting a survey to gauge the impact on South Africa’s inbound tourism.
