The Tourism Business Council of South Africa (TBCSA) hosted its Mpumalanga industry roadshow, bringing together tourism operators, industry bodies and stakeholders from across the province.
The strong attendance signalled a sector actively seeking practical solutions and greater alignment across the tourism value chain.
As one of South Africa’s key tourism regions, Mpumalanga continues to play an important role in both domestic and international travel, making these engagements critical to strengthening destination performance.
The session created space for industry voices to engage directly on operational realities, supported by inputs from key tourism bodies across the value chain, covering areas such as destination management, infrastructure and strengthening local tourism ecosystems.
Delivered in partnership with South African Tourism, the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa, the Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency and the Kruger Lowveld Chamber of Business and Tourism, the roadshow highlighted the role of coordinated industry action in shaping a more resilient and competitive sector.
