Tourism Experts converge for 2nd IHTEF

Gladiators in the tourism and hospitality industry in Nigeria will be converging at the 2nd International Hospitality, Tourism and Eco-Sustainability Forum (IHTEF), to discuss germane issues that will facilitate and propel the sector forward.
The event which is scheduled to hold on the 4th and 5th of April, 2017, at the New Concorde Hotel, Owerri, Imo State with the theme: “Roadmaps to Excellence, Pathways to Progress” will have in attendance tourism expert and founder, Akwaaba, African Travel Market, Mr Ikechi Uko and other top players in the sector.
Uko who is one of the key speakers at the forum, will be speaking on “Hospitality and Tourism Excellence Versus Sustainable Progress in Sub-national Governments”
CEO, Capital Oil, and President, FC Ifeanyi Ubah will be speaking on the “Nexus between Sports Tourism & Economic Growth”
Also, Dr. Michael Pinder, Group Managing Director, Sun Heavens Hotels will speak on “Beyond 2020: Disruptions, Disruptors & Challenges Before Hotels in Nigeria”
According to the organizers, the 2017 event will focus on Workforce Development, Big Data, & Revenue Management, noting that the maiden edition which was a huge success was powerful and revealing.
The orgainsers stated that more bigwigs in tourism sector will soon be confirmed to speak at the event in the coming days.
