Aviation: Africa World Airlines Introduces Early Bird Flights on Lagos-Accra route

Africa World Airlines (AWA), Ghana’s leading carrier offering more travelling options to air travellers as it introduces early bird flights between Lagos and Accra route effective from 28th October 2019.

The airlines said the new flights AW 209 will depart at 6am local time from Lagos on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, arriving in Accra at 6am the same day.

AWA said correspondingly, late night flights AW228 on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday nights depart Accra at 11:59pm and arrive at 2am local time into Lagos.

It said it now offers 34 flights per week on this route with a choice of departures at 6:20am, 9:20am, 11:50am, 2:40pm, 6:10pm and 1159pm from Accra; and 6am, 9am, 11:50am, 2:20pm, 5:20pm and 8:40pm from Lagos.

Additionally, AWA operates 11 weekly flights between Accra and Abuja, offering more flight choices into Nigeria than any other international airline.
