Ghana’s most successful airlines, Africa World Airline (AWA), celebrated its 7th year of seamless flight operation in the industry.
Chief Operations Officer of the airline, Sean Mendis, in facebook post said: “Today marks 7 years since Africa World Airlines took delivery of “Tango”, our first ERJ-145. She continues to serve us well (together with her 7 siblings) as the airline grows from strength to strength. I am the proudest person to hear AWA referred to as an “African success story”.
“Kudos to our entire team of 500+ dedicated professionals across multiple countries for everything you do around the clock to keep things moving.
He stated that AWA has 338 direct employees and the remainder are contract staff dedicated to our operation.
