The Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism has announced that peace and stability have been fully restored across the United Republic of Tanzania.
Following the swift containment of recent post-election incidents, all social, economic, and tourism activities have resumed normally.
In an official travel advisory, the Ministry assured visitors, tourism stakeholders, and the general public that all entry and exit points, including airports, seaports, and rail stations, are fully operational. Tourism services across the country are also functioning without disruption.
“Tanzania upholds international standards ensuring the safety and well-being of all travelers,” the Ministry stated, emphasizing the country’s commitment to being a safe and welcoming destination for tourists, business travelers, and investors.
As a member of the United Nations Tourism Organization (UN Tourism), Tanzania is dedicated to providing a secure environment for visitors. Travelers are encouraged to proceed with their plans to explore Tanzania’s exceptional attractions with confidence.
The Ministry’s announcement comes after a period of heightened security measures following the general elections held on October 29, 2025. With peace and stability restored, the tourism sector is expected to bounce back, attracting visitors from around the world to experience Tanzania’s unique attractions, including the Serengeti National Park, Mount Kilimanjaro, and Zanzibar’s stunning beaches.
“We urge all travelers to visit Tanzania and experience the warmth and hospitality of our people,” said Nteghenjwa Hosseah, Head of Government Communication Unit. “We are committed to ensuring their safety and well-being during their stay.”
With the country’s tourism industry back on track, Tanzania is poised to welcome visitors from around the world, showcasing its natural beauty, rich culture, and warm hospitality .
