Seven months after the maiden edition of its first tourism event in Nigeria, Afro Tourism, a destination marketing company announced that it is no longer part of Nigeria Travel Week.
According to a press release by the management of Afro Tourism, the company withdrew from the partnership due to its recent internal restructuring.
It said: “The management of Afro Tourism West Africa Ltd hereby notifies the general public of Afro Tourism’s withdrawal from Nigeria Travel Week (NTW) partnership and other incidental relationship attached thereto.
“We are happy to have been part of the maiden edition of the Nigeria Travel week which held in November 2017. However, due to our recent internal restructuring, we will no longer be part of the Nigeria Travel Week.
“Afro Tourism is fully committed to the growth and development of the Nigerian travel and tourism industry and wishes the organisers well in their future endeavours.
