During the course of 2014, Air Côte d’Ivoire will provide Kenya Airways with West & Central African feeder traffic via its Abidjan hub. The announcement was made by the Ivorian Ministry of Transport in the airline’s annual operational report. In mid-December, Kenya Airways CEO, Titus Naikuni, held talks with his Ivorian counterpart, Abdoulaye Coulibaly, in Abidjan over the possibility of establishing deeper ties. Both airlines count Air France-KLM as shareholders.
Air Côte d’Ivoire now in its second year, has grown from strength to strength and took delivery of its third A319-100, in November 2013. Air Côte d’Ivoire is focusing on adding more Central African routes including N’Djamena, Niamey, Kinshasa N’Djili, Bangui, Freetown and Monrovia Roberts. Source: Ch-Avaition
