Freetown-based Air Sierra Leone, the national flag carrier, unveiled its ambitious growth and partnership strategy during a presentation at the 21st Akwaaba African Travel Market in Lagos, Nigeria, the biggest & only travel expo in West Africa.

The airline reaffirmed its commitment to redefining air travel across West Africa and beyond through enhanced connectivity, safety, and authentic Sierra Leonean hospitality.

With a mission to deliver a superior travel experience defined by safety, luxury, and efficiency, Air Sierra Leone aims to connect passengers to key destinations regionally and globally. Its vision is to become West Africa’s premier airline, renowned for excellence in service, operational efficiency, and memorable travel experiences.

Currently, the airline operates routes linking Freetown to Lagos and London, with plans underway to expand its West African and European network in the near future. The airline’s value proposition centers on competitive and affordable fares, reliability, warm hospitality, and cargo solutions that support regional trade and business.

During the Akwaaba presentation, Air Sierra Leone highlighted its strategic distribution partnerships with Hahn Air (X1) and Euroairlines (Q4) — collaborations that enhance the airline’s global accessibility and booking convenience.

Inviting stakeholders and travel partners to engage with Sierra Leone’s flag carrier, the airline emphasized its dedication to promoting Sierra Leone as a vibrant travel destination and strengthening tourism and trade across Africa.
